Having managed to put this event together in just 9 days it turned out to be a great day with lots of support from the local community and local businesses. The unite guys turned up with there PA system so we was able to do Speeches, play music and listen to a great poem recorded especially for the residents of Montreal Square.
Our local Labour Councillor Dave Baigent turned up to support us.
The Chairwomen of FECRA Wendy Blyth came and gave lots of valuable advice.
Mill road TV was present and photographers from the Cambridge Independent and Cambridge News came along.
MP Daniel Zeichner sent his apologises as did Labour Councillor Anna Smith and Lib dems
Catherine Smart and Simon Cooper which was expected with it being holiday season
